QuestBOTPrivacy Policy

The short version: QuestBOT doesn't collect your personal information. Your profiles, addresses and cards stay on your iPhone. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
Who we are
QuestBOT is an iPhone app made by David Garcia ("we", "us"). If you have a question about this policy, email questbotapp@gmail.com.
What stays on your iPhone
- Profiles. The names, shipping and billing addresses, emails, phone numbers and card details you save are stored in your iPhone's Keychain, the same secure storage iPhone uses for passwords. They're kept on this device only and aren't included in iCloud backups. If you turn on Face ID for cards, card numbers are only shown after Face ID.
- Tasks, settings and checkout history. Stored on your iPhone.
- Browser data. Pages you open in QuestBOT's built-in browser can save cookies and sign-ins on your iPhone, like any browser.
We never receive any of this.
What leaves your iPhone, and where it goes
- The stores you buy from. When QuestBOT fills in a checkout, your profile details go to that store's website, just as if you'd typed them in yourself. That store's own privacy policy covers what it does with them.
- Discord, only if you set it up. If you add a Discord webhook in Settings, details of each checkout (product, size, price, store and profile name) are posted to your Discord channel. Nothing goes to Discord unless you add one.
- App settings. The app checks our server for updated settings so features keep working. These requests contain no personal information and aren't linked to you. Like any request on the internet they include your IP address, which we don't store. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, handles the requests on our behalf.
- Purchases. Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. Apple tells the app on your iPhone whether your subscription is active. Apple's privacy policy covers your purchases.
Notifications from QuestBOT are created on your iPhone. We don't use push notification services.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share personal information, because we don't have any.
- We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
Your choices
You can edit or delete any profile, task or checkout record in the app at any time. Deleting a profile removes it from your iPhone. You can remove a Discord webhook in Settings whenever you like.
Children
QuestBOT isn't meant for children and we don't knowingly handle children's information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
